1. General Rules for Animal Transportation

  • A separate ticket is mandatory. A separate ticket must be purchased for each animal, which provides a separate seat.
  • The seat for the animal can be registered in the owner's name.
  • Transportation is allowed only in a special carrier (box, container, cage) that meets IATA standards (has a certificate of compliance).
  • Dogs must be muzzled during the trip.
  • All animals must be vaccinated, confirmed by the appropriate documents.

2. Which Animals Are Allowed for Transportation

Animals up to 12 kg:

  • Must be kept in a hard carrier with a solid bottom.
  • One ticket is issued with a 10% discount.

Animals over 12 kg:

  • Must be muzzled and on a leash.
  • It is necessary to purchase two seats, which also have a 10% discount.

Companion and guide dogs:

  • May be transported without a carrier, but must comply with general safety and behavior requirements.

3. Required Documents for Animal Transportation (especially for international trips)

Mandatory documents:

  • Veterinary passport with all scheduled vaccinations, a photo of the animal (from 12 months), data on microchipping, and parasite treatment.
  • Valid rabies vaccination (administered no earlier than 21 days before entering the country).
  • Document confirming the presence of a microchip.
  • Health certificate.
  • Rabies antibody test (valid for 3 months from the moment of border crossing).
  • Form VET-1 or VET-1 CIS.
  • International certificate, issued free of charge at the border at a special veterinary point (VET-1 must be available).
  • Certificate of no breeding value.
  • Certificate of container compliance with IATA standards.
  • Documented parasite treatment (no earlier than 48 hours before departure, confirmed in the passport).

4. Requirements During International Transportation

The passenger must have all necessary documents at the time of:

  • 12 hours before crossing the border,
  • during crossing,
  • and within 12 hours after - in transit and destination countries.

5. Animal Behavior and the Right to Refuse Transportation

The carrier has the right to refuse transportation of an animal if:

  • It behaves aggressively or poses a threat to other passengers.
  • Its behavior disturbs the comfort of passengers or the crew's work.

In case of damage caused, the animal owner is obliged to:

  • Fully compensate for the damage (including fines, penalties, and other expenses).

6. Important Information

  • Vaccination is mandatory for all animals, according to current veterinary regulations.
  • Possession of all documents is the sole responsibility of the passenger.
  • Animal transportation is only possible if all the above requirements are met.
