Luggage Transportation Rules with LikeBus.ua

1. Boarding and Luggage Check-In Organization

  • The passenger must arrive for boarding no later than 30 minutes before departure.
  • Before boarding, the passenger is required to check in luggage to the luggage compartment.
  • After checking in luggage, the passenger must present carry-on luggage to the driver or another representative of the carrier.
  • Important! Luggage left on the bus after stops or arrival is stored for 2 days, after which it is transferred to the lost and found office.

2. Luggage Included in the Ticket Price

Carry-on luggage (up to 5 kg)

  • Maximum linear dimensions: up to 100 cm (height + width + length).
  • Can be placed on the luggage shelf.
  • It is prohibited to leave carry-on luggage in the bus aisles.

Standard luggage space (up to 23 kg)

  • Maximum linear dimensions: up to 160 cm (including wheels, pockets, handles).
  • Included in the ticket price.

Baby stroller

  • Counts as 1 luggage space, transported folded and packed in a cover.

Wheelchair

  • Also counts as one luggage space, transported folded and covered.

3. Additional Luggage

  • One additional luggage space can be transported (subject to available space).
  • Cost - 10% of the ticket price.
  • Payment is made online or through customer support. Not to the driver.
  • If necessary, additional luggage space can be purchased during boarding, if space is available.

4. Transportation of Special Items

Bicycles

  • Accepted disassembled (front wheel removed).
  • Must be packed.
  • Agreed with the carrier’s office if necessary.
  • Count as 2 luggage units.

Non-standard luggage (tools, sports equipment, electric scooters)

  • May require a separate space or approval.
  • Electric scooters may be classified as hazardous cargo.
  • Always check the possibility of transportation in advance through support.

5. Prohibited Items

Strictly prohibited:

  • Any type of weapons (firearms, pneumatic, cold weapons)
  • Explosive substances, fireworks, detonators
  • Toxic/radioactive/corrosive materials
  • Flammable liquids, gases, cylinders
  • Large lithium batteries, biomaterials

On international routes also prohibited:

  • Alcohol exceeding the allowed volume (up to 1 liter at 70%)
  • Tobacco products exceeding the limit
  • Fresh meat/dairy products
  • Prohibited medications without prescription

6. Carrier’s Responsibility

The carrier is responsible for:

  • Only luggage accepted with a luggage tag.
  • In case of loss due to the carrier’s fault - compensation up to 100 USD, if a claim is submitted within 3 days.

Not responsible for:

  • Items left unattended in the cabin (money, jewelry, documents, gadgets).
  • Packaging damage, minor damages, scratches, lost straps - if caused by normal wear and tear.
  • Items that are easily perishable, fragile, or improperly packed.

7. Actions in Case of Lost Luggage

  1. Immediately contact the driver or the hotline: +380983438282.
  2. Submit a claim with trip details and luggage description.
  3. Send it to [email protected] (attach a copy of the ticket).
  4. If insured - submit a request to the insurance company.

8. Other Provisions

  • Forgotten items are stored at the nearest carrier’s office.
  • Service personnel have the right to inspect luggage if there are safety concerns.
  • If you refuse to show luggage, the carrier may deny boarding with such luggage.

9. Excessive Luggage

  • If the quantity or volume of luggage exceeds the allowed limits and there is no possibility to place it on the bus, the passenger may be denied boarding without refund.
  • We recommend arranging oversized luggage in advance.

10. Sending Items Without a Passenger

  • There is no official service for sending luggage without a passenger available.
  • In exceptional cases, it is possible to arrange directly with the driver if there is free space.
  • The cost is not fixed and depends on individual conditions.
