When traveling to Turkey, it is important to be aware of the current entry regulations, customs control requirements, and prepare all necessary documents in advance. This will help avoid misunderstandings at the border and ensure a comfortable trip.
Length of stay: up to 90 days within 180 days without a visa.
Entry document: biometric international passport of a citizen of Ukraine or internal passport in the form of an ID card (for short-term trips). The passport must be valid for the entire period of stay.
When crossing the Turkish border, customs control of documents and luggage is carried out. The import of goods from outside the EU is regulated by regulations that provide for certain limits without paying customs duties.
Import is prohibited or restricted:
Each child must have their own international passport. If a child is traveling with only one parent or with third parties, a notarized permission to leave from the other parent or both parents is required, indicating the country and duration of the trip.
An EU or international veterinary passport with information on the microchip, rabies vaccination and general health of the animal is required. Vaccination must be carried out no less than 30 days before the trip. Additionally, a veterinary certificate issued no later than 48 hours before departure may be required.
Keep your documents, money and valuables with you. On bus routes, checks are possible not only at the Turkish border, but also during transit through Bulgaria, Greece or Romania. For air passengers, it is recommended to have digital copies of documents in case the originals are lost.
Before traveling, be sure to check the current entry rules on the official websites of government institutions.
